A Bit About Me

Naturopaths in Australia are highly trained, particularly if they have trained at University level as I have. My studies included four years of anatomy and physiology, pathology (understanding disease), symptomology and diagnosis, nutrition including looking at diets and the science of using nutrients to treat disease, and herbal medicine and therapeutics (understanding plants and their medicinal properties).

I have been a practicing Naturopath since 2002 when I graduated with the above qualifications from Nature Care College in Sydney and Charles Sturt University, where I received The Deans Award for Academic Excellence.

Since studying I have gone on to work in private practice as Naturopath for Dr Roby Cosford, one of Australia's leading physicians treating children on the Autistic Spectrum and people with chronic health conditions. Following this I worked extensively in Weight Loss and for the well known health company Blackmores as a Naturopathic Advisor and Writer. I have written health articles for both Blackmores and WellBeing magazine.

I draw on my training, education, my years of researching, my years of experience, ongoing study and a touch of intuition to help people with their health problems.

I live on the NSW Central Coast with my Husband and two children and cat. I love being a Naturopath and putting the jigsaw together about a person's health and I love improving peoples health. There are so many tools available in complementary medicine to lift their vitality, improve their mood or their sleep or balance their hormones and immune system. I love showing people that Complementary Medicine has real answers where often they find a dead end in conventional medicine.

"My aim is to make Naturopathy affordable for everyone"
